The 3 final pitchers will be Cecil, Osuna, Storen. My guess is Storen is the closer. He absolutely imploded last yr after being moved to setup.
Loup will be in the final few pitchers used too (once he’s healthy), Chavez could be that 6inning guy too.

He was the big piece going Mariners way when they traded Pineda to the Yankees.
Knee injury and a 50 game suspension (drugs) would derail anyone’s career. Came into camp the next yr over weight (40lbs over weight). Then got suspended by the team for a verbal argument in ClassA with a scout. Then had a good AAA yr last yr (335avg I think) then sucked with the Mariners during spring training.
Jays claimed Smoak off the Mariners too, who was a big piece in the Cliff Lee trade. If Montero can catch a knuckleball he’s on Toronto’s roster, but I don’t think they have enough time to test it out fully so he’s their backup backup catcher.

Apparently Montero was picked up for a bat/DH/1B according to Tim and Sid. They think it's more to take a look at him and to see if they can make a MLB player out of him.

Stoked for the season to start. I saw on a sportsnet article last week that a betting site was offering 33:1 odds on Stroman winning the AL Cy Young...was tempted to throw $100 down on it. Not that I'm saying that I expect him to be a Cy Young winner but at those odds and with his capabilities? Who knows.
