I guess we'll see! Yesterday I put on a list of 50-60-70-80 top music in the morning and then a couple of new albums (one folk and one Indie rock) from 2014 in the afternoon. This will be a different flavour. I love Grooveshark.

A couple of my choices like The Stanfields (solid rockin East Coast Canadian band) and Frank Turner (punk rocker turned acoustic rocker) are a bit obscure and not quite as main stream as the AC/DC's and Metallica's out there.

    This will be fun.
    Thanks doulos.

My list, as I mentioned, is actually tuned for "flow".
When I make a mix list, I actually listen to the the flow a few full rounds through.
And, I play the end/start transitions probably 10-12 times to verify that people's asses would stay on the dance floor (with beers in hand).

I really enjoyed horrorfan's playlist. Reminded me of when I played a lot of Guitar Hero with the youth I volunteered with. Maybe would not have had Hangar 18 at the end.

Moving onto Dobber's more 90sish playlist.

Dobber's started off with one of my all time favorite songs, and was sprinkled with nostalgia. Pretty chill though in spots.

Cool, glad you liked it. If you moved Hangar 18 up, where would you place it? My reasoning for placing it last is simple, I love how that song finishes and thought it would work well as a finale.

Yeah that makes some sense. I'm not good with "flow" or anything.

Neither am I actually - others probably spent more time on this. I mainly focused on my first and last songs, and tried to mix it up in between.

VintageVibe's was excellent. Several of my favorite songs.

    Onwards to Axeman's!

Hard to do only 10 and not have more than one from the same artist. I could have listed a lot of My Chemical Romance and Shinedown. The ones I have listed are songs I still to this day listen to pretty regularly.
So, I'm not very familiar with a lot of these bands. I've heard their names, or maybe heard the odd song on the radio, but they are not ones I listen to regularly.

I'm certainly going to listen to some more by The Stanfields and The Trews. I quite enjoyed both of those and they are both Canadian bands! Bookended it well with two classic bands of course.
