People probably said that about Columbus. On paper Ottawa is a better team than Columbus.

He'll put up decent numbers if he stays away from kitchen knives. Expect injury though and time missed. Soooooo wish they traded him to EDM for Eberle when the oil were hard up for a goalie and Andy was red hot.

Not an Ottawa or Anderson fan but the east is up for grabs and Anderson is a better own than Lehner in all formats, but I would put Anderson around the 20-25 best goalie to own next year. I really can only name two teams that I am honestly convinced are worse than Ottawa in east....Buffalo and Florida??

You can wish all you want for trades that never would have happened.

****in Murray missed the boat not trading Greening for Malkin.

Islanders for sure. I won't get into who I think is worse than them though.

if you're talking about future than Lehner is a much better own.

That's about it as far as I'm concerned. Maybe Carolina. Ottawa is picking a good year to be crap though, so there's that.

Andy+ for Ebs is not as outlandish a scheme as Malkin for Greening. Come on Ev!

Nothing is impossible Ev. My ideas aren't as horrific as you make them out to be. Just my $.02. Anyways...get this back to Anderson.

I think he'll have a bounce back year, but still end up screwing fantasy owners as his numbers will be similar to Lehner's and he will be splitting time 55/45 1A/1B with him.

He's a pretty good goalie but after Buffalo, Ottawa is going to be the whipping boy of the Atlantic division next season.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see Lehner get more and more starts this season as the Sens look to trnsition him into the #1 role.

I see Andy getting "meh" numbers for GAA and S% but much lower on the Wins simply because he won't get as many starts so that is my vote

I can't see Ottawa doing much worse than they did last year.

Buffalo and Florida will be the bottom dwellers.

Boston will be at the top.

But then between Tampa, Montreal, Detroit, Toronto and Ottawa I think it's a coin toss.

Tampa may prove to be a contender for the division but I really think it all depends on Bishop, can he repeat his performance from this past season.

I am truly doing this because I really want to know! Im not disagreeing at all, but I just don't see why everyone has loves Lehner so much? Like I said just curious, because I can definitely be convinced of his awesomeness if I hear good enough reason!

I'm not sure where Columbus being better than Ottawa (or vice-versa) is a cold, hard fact. I would probably rather own Ottawa if I were in the ownership biz...and I wouldn't bet a dime on one team beating the other this year. CBJ works hard, is well coached, great goaltending, no superstar. Ottawa also works hard, well coached, may have great goaltending (but not coming off a good year), and has a superstar in Erik Karlsson. Columbus beat them by five points last year. Ottawa loses Spezza and CBJ gains Hartnell and suddenly the odds are tipped?

I don't know man. It's an argument over which mildly above-average team is better than the other and Boston/Los Angeles/Chicago fans are laughing at anyone involved in said argument

And anyone who says the Islanders are a Bottom 5 team will be quite surprised this year.

To be fair Dobber Hockey and its forum are in the biz of arguing/discussing/dissecting exactly these types of things its what makes this community amazing....I cast my cote CBJ way and think the Sens will stink. My neighbor always say opinions are like ********....everybody's got one.
