With all the weapons the Avs have up front this year, Holden could surprise.
Huh... good comments on Holden. He wasn't on my radar until you mentioned him but I've done a little digging and see he looks to be a late bloomer that could really do something. Interestingly enough he is quietly signed by the Avs for the next 4 seasons, longer than any other Dman they have at the moment.
At any rate, if he continues on from last season he could easily get 35pts with a decent +/- and some bonus PIMs.

Sami Vatanen, new 2 year contract in his pocket and a ton of PP time this season I think.

I still don't see him stealing the top minutes from Fowler and H.Lindholm.. Top 4/pp2 minutes is what I am expecting from Vatanen this season..

    Agree. (some REP)
Daley ended the season very strong.
He actually looked like the Stars' best defenseman (IMO) in the playoffs and last part of regular season.
His confidence level is really showing out there and he's started carrying the puck.

A good player to watch some recent footage of on NHL.com.
    Just click video.

In the next few seasons, I see 41 and 38. He is not a 45+ guy, but is a 37+ guy in my books. As the offense in Dallas gets a huge boost from Hemsky and Spezza, I would expect the PP to get the same boost and if Daley is on there, he'll get assist (those fabled 2nd assists) just by being on the ice almost.. He is pretty dynamic. I expect him to rise up to the billing.

Daley has never passed 30 points in the NHL and there is NO way he breaks forty this year. He will be around the 25 - 30 point mark again this year when all is said and done.

I take your point, absolutely. We've seen big jumps before though, so you never know. With all the upgrades in Dallas, someone has to stand to benefit. I don't like the guy to be a dominant PP QB by any means, but 41 pts to me is a realistic goal. Let's see I guess. Game on, for sure.

Yep and I see his 2 most productive seasons being this coming one and next. He's in his prime now. I see a 25% chance of him hitting 40. Just a guess, but for some reason I think it can be there..
