Nicklas Backstrom

Hey guys, I know that nicklas backstrom has been analyzed inside and out, but considering his forgettable prospect camp, has his stock fallen? I personally still consider him all aces, and and 80 point rookie season is attainable, but how does everyone think his growth will go from there? could he be hitting 100 points playing in washington in 2-3 seasons?

If Malkin got 85 in 78 games, playing with Crosby, Gonchar, Whitney, Recchi, Staal. I can\'t see Backstrom getting 80 only playing with Ovechkin, Nylander, and Semin. I would put him in the high 60\'s for next season. That could change come opening night. HA! But as of now I stand by that.

It wasn\'t that bad...just not as good as some others. It was a disappointing camp, but lets wait until the real training camp arrives! He should be a 100-point guy, but we all knew it wouldn\'t be this year.
