You and me both, bud. Although I'm in a dynasty league so I'll throw him on IR if it's 16. Camp opens July 25th. Browns should be informed prior to that.
Best window I can give ya.
When wiil we know about his suspension?????? I heard 8 to 16 games, but when will they finally tell??? I'm thinking about keeping him if it's 8 games, but I can't keep him if it's the whole year...

@SmittysRant
Thanks Bomm! For me, as a limited keepers league, I can't afford to keep him. I wish I could because, if we forget about those legal issues, he's certainly top 5 for a WR ...
I think what's holding up the decision is Gordon didn't actually fail the test per se. He missed his appointment to be tested which by protocol auto-defaults to a failed test. No one is leaking what caused him to miss the test, but rumor has it it was unavoidable.
Of course, every inmate is innocent too so......take that for what it's worth.
@SmittysRant
What a waste of stud talent if this guy has to miss more games!!

I just realized he has not yet had his appeal hearing. I was under the impression that he had, and we were sitting around waiting for a decision. No date yet....so that's what the hold up is.

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/7/5...eveland-brownsCleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was arrested in Raleigh, N.C. on Friday evening for driving while impaired, according to a report by Matt Anderson of WKYC in Cleveland.
Gordon has not been averse to off-the-field issues so far in his short NFL career. Recently a July date was set for Gordon's appeal hearing, attempting to lessen the indefinite suspension that was handed down recently for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy for a third time.
Gordon was bonded out on Saturday afternoon, but an arrest on the Fourth of July is certainly not going to help his case at his hearing to reduce his suspension from the NFL.
Gordon originally entered the NFL in the supplemental draft after being suspended twice in college, reportedly for marijuana use, before eventually being dismissed from Baylor. Despite being suspended for two games in 2014, Gordon broke out last year, catching 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns and making the NFL's Pro Bowl.
This guy needs to take a lesson from JJ Watt.

That is such a small amount. Is it even possible to actually smoke it and get a reading that low?...his failed "A" sample was only one nanogram per milliliter above the league's threshold of 15 nanograms per milliliter while the "B" sample measured below the threshold at 13.63.
@SmittysRant
The dumbest part of this is the NFLs "tolerance" is lower than any other profession. Freaking PILOTS can be 3 times higher than an NFL player. How does that make sense?
Olympians, NHLers, MLBers (who should have one of the strickest drug policies), Bicyclists, NBAers all can have like double to triple the amount he was caught with. Due to the low number, i do believe second hand is the only way you can get that low of a reading. However, the NFL would argue why is he putting himself in that situation. Walking past someone who is smoking wouldnt put that amount in you, he had to of been with them sitting casually for a fair amount of time
