You\'re more than likely correct. Either way, I\'m fine with it. Hatcher does fill a role, and his leadership is valuable, so I wouldn\'t mind having him here. On the flip side, I also wouldn\'t mind if he retired and freed up cap space to go after the puckmoving 2nd pair Dman we desperately need.
We will see what Homer has up his sleeve, as I think these depth defensive moves signal something bigger about to go down. Either that, or we\'re building up the depth to soften the blow of not be able to add a true top-4 D.
