I have been offered Drew Stafford for Dustin Penner. Coming off a 29 goal rookie season makes me hesitate, but Stafford only played 1/2 season last year full year numbers would have been similar. What type of numbers should both put up next year and should I make this deal? Please advise. Thanks.

Penner plays with Getzlaf and Perry . I have had Penner on my team for 2 years now .. and Penner is the veteren on that line at 24 or 25 .
Penner: 24 yrs-29g,16a - 45 points in 82 games
Stafford: 21 yrs-13g,14a - 27 points in 41 games
I would suggest that you have to go with Penner. Stafford only played 41 games. Penner has clearly established himself with Perry and Getzlaf. You don\'t know that Stafford will be playing full time this year, although I think that he likely will be considering the loss of Drury and Briere.
