Haha, ya I do watch quite a bit. This is not the 2006 brand where they stack 10 in the box and grind out one nothing wins. In fact, they haven't played like that since 2006. Since then, they have a sound D, selfless attack through quick passes and a fantastic striker in Balo.

Argentina is my pick to win it all. They play their 3 group games in the South of Brazil close to the Argentine border. Their front four of Aguero, Higuain, Messi and Di Maria is arguably the best in the tournament.

Brazil got off to rocky starts when an own-goal by Marcelo gifted Croatia with the first point of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Neymar is on fire, he has 2 goals plus 1 goal from Oscar
and Brazil wins at 3-1 over Croatia.

terrible penalty leading to neymar's 2nd goal, and pretty weak goal by oscar. brazil still should have won, but i'm not too impressed by their performance. still early so they have time to get better.

that penalty was an absolute JOKE. Brazil would have still won anyway due to Oscars goal (seemed to me that the goalie should have had that).

MOST importantly here, Croatia was unimpressive, and Brazil didn't impress me one bit either. Hopefully tomorrow the Dutch will impress, We got something to prove against Spain, altho it would never erase 4 years ago.

Croatia played alright. They were quite impressive on the counter, and realistically that was the only way to beat Brazil. I was so close on putting money on Olic to get the first goal of the game. I didn't but his early header that went wide had my off my seat.

I did bet Brazil would win 3-1 AND that Hulk would score. Lost that bet. I also put money on a halftime Draw as soon as Croatia was gifted with that own goal.

I made some bets before the game as well. France to win it all at 22/1, Hulk for golden boot at 33/1, and I think thats it. Hulk was very unimpressive today. He plays much different for Zenit. Maybe just a bad game.
