The united states were left devastated by a last gasp equaliser in their 2-2 draw with portugal last time out,
as the result ensuring they head into a tough final group game with their spot in the last 16 of the world cup still no confirmed. the usa may well name an unchanged lineup
from the team that drew 2-2 with portugal last time out. Jozy Altidore has been declared out for the match so expect clint dempsey to remain the teams lone striker.
The germans are also looking for an emphatic finish in the group stages by beating the US, as a team they defeated six out of their previous nine head to head matches.
germany are believed to be monitoring the fitness of jerome boateng and sami khedira who have been struggling with thigh and knee problems respectively recently.
my bet is for germany they can beat usa with a score of 1-3.

Portugal vs Ghana
for portugal a win is not enough for them to advance into the next round. Cristiano Ronaldo and company have to annihilate a tough ghana squad four or more goals to offset the four goals they conceded against
germany in the opener. portugal without fabio coentrao while helder postiga, who suffered a hamstring injury against usa is also absent. with hugo almeida also injured. eder is the only fit striker available.
ghana had experienced disappointment during the first round against usa. having snoozed for most of the first half conceding a clint demspey goal after only 30 seconds. ghana managed to impressed us during both
games despite earning only one point, while portugal still struggled despite significant improvement in the second match against the usa. my bet is for ghana they can beat portugal with a final score of
1-2.

Belgium came to the tournament as one of the most promising teams. there were several experts who expected a lot from belgium. it would be unfair to say that western european country was able to live up
to the expectation. while korea republic had its chances to make thins better for the teams future in the tournament. however it did not manage to take advantage of the chances it created in the last
two matches.it lost to algeria 2-4 and the defeat left a significant question mark on its possibilities of going to the next round. if korea continue to struggle belgium will beat them with a score of

but managed to score only a single goal. so the russians are going to have to really step up their game if they want to have any chance to win this game against algeria.

Far too light, what a joke. This being his third conviction, he should be banned the full two years internationally (believe that is the FIFA max), plus I would include a full year domestic ban. Any further conviction and you're banned permanently.

In my opinion, he got off light. If this was a situation where somebody bit someone else for the first time, I MIGHT be able to chalk it up as "somebody lost control in the heat of the moment and will realize the error of their ways, and will never do that again". Clearly, being his 3rd offence, this is an ongoing problem. He is a biter and he simply can't control himself in these situations. I think FIFA missed an opportunity here to show the world, that this isn't going to be tolerated... EVER... The should have give him the maximum.

I believe Suarez got 10 games last time.

The fact that this is his third conviction for biting means it should have been a lot more. 9 international games is nothing. 4 months starting now (missing a few Liverpool games) is nothing. How many times does he have to bite someone for them to set an example?? Completely unacceptable and this is far too light a ban. Biting someone once is stupid but you hope it's a one off. Biting someone a second time should throw up red flags to everyone - not just FIFA but Liverpool as well - that he can't control himself. Biting someone a third (!!) time and you should be out for a very long time. I would love to hear an explanation why he didn't get a max ban.

9 international games is a lot! And at least one world cup game is huge.

He'll miss 9 Liverpool EPL games and around 3 Champions League games.

Liverpool fans get the worst of it for sure.
