I dont think Melrose is going to be an especially bad coach for TB. I mean this is the same guy who took the Kings to a cup final. Maybe he had a little help from Gretz but he did have Hrudey in net, that had to hurt. That bring the case you might have to consider the possibility of Melrose being able to do something with a team that lacks consistent or simply consistently good goaltending.
