    Default Last week goalie help!

Depending on how tonight goes, I'm either going to play for the championship next week, or for 3rd place. Either way, I need to grab a goalie. Which 1 of these 4 would you pick?

Roberto Luongo: 3 games (vs. PHI, vs. TOR, vs. CBJ). *guessing he'll get all three games.
Karri Ramo: 4 games (at NJ, vs. LA, vs. WPG, at VAN). *guessing he'll get 3 out of the 4 games.
Chad Johnson: 4 games (at MIN, at WPG, vs. BUF, at NJ). *guessing he'll get 2 of the 4 games, especially at NJ.
Thomas Greiss: 4 games (at CBJ, at NSH, vs. SJ, vs. DAL). *guessing he'll start all 4, if Mike Smith is still hurt.

    What's your best guess?

I vote Greiss simply because he'll likely start all 4. Johnson is a very close 2nd, i think he'll put up much better GAA and sv%

Bobby Lu has to deal with teams that are fighting for a playoff spot in Tor and CBJ, and I wouldn't start a Flames goalies unless i had to meet min goalie requirements

I think you have to at least consider Ramo... While Calgary's overall record sucks, they're 6-4 in their last 10. There's some goal support too. They're playing loose and (except NJ) against teams with little at stake at the end.

Yeah, I am in a similar situation. Was really hoping the site would be offering a little more suggestions on goalies next week, but the feedback has been bleak. I am undecided on your situation, really, you can make a case for every one of them. I think Ramo plays all 4 though and Smith has not been ruled out to return, so no certainty Griess gets all 4. Johnson could very well only get 1 if Boston plays out the President's trophy, but it looks like 2.

I would actually go with Johnson first (and if not available) then Ramo, before Greiss, for the simple reasons that -
    a) If Smith is expected back, no guarantee that Greiss gets all 4, and
    b) More importantly, those are 4 tough match-ups (CBJ playing for play-off life, NSH playing very well lately, SJ is always tough and DAL will want to win that game to ensure playoff berth with 2 of the hottest players in their midst)

In fact, with Boston already clinching the top seed in the East, CJ may get 3 out of the 4. My 2 cents.

Great thanks guys! Any others? I had a HUGE come from behind win in my league's semis last night... So for the 5th year in a row, I've made the finals.
