Why are we waiting for him to break out? He already has.

Turris is a bust because he doesn't score enough.
Yet Crosby sucks while leading the league in scoring.

I think he has one more step in him. He projects to 58 points this season, I think he can be a steady 62-67 guy. But yeah, this was his biggest step forward and the biggest step forward he'll ever take.

Turris (or is that Turdis?) is nothing more than a serviceable NHLer who should consistently score around 55-60 pts a season. Elite players score more and terrible players score less. He is, and will continue to be, somewhere in the middle. Akin to Tyler Bozak, Jordan Staal or M. Grabovski...guys you always expect to be better than they are but who will always contribute something to their team.

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)

    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen

no. crosby is a SUCKy baby. hes actually toned down his whining this season.

of course Turdis is a bust. lets go the opposite route. lets compare other current 51 pt players draft spot positions to turdis. Turdis is not a bust as an NHL player, he is not a hugh jessiman. Turdis is a BUST based on his draft slot to performance ration.

dobber said it best. in hindsight he was MAYBE worthy of a 17th overall pick NOT a 3rd overall!!!!!!!!

I meant in the sense that he has finally established himself as a legit Top 6. I think he has more point potential, and I think he'll be a 70 point guy. Satrting next year when is the #1 C.

No way IMO, he's more than serviceable NHLer. Serviceable NHLers are fourth liners. I think he will be like Bergeron more so than those lesser players.
