    I...am your father.

Default Phoenix signs college UFA Greg Carey

Late with this, but per Bobby Mac:

Carey was second in the nation in scoring behind Johnny Gaudreau. Too bad he chose Phoenix. Andy Miele chose Phoenix as well. So did Bill Thomas. Good track record so far

Gotta keep the potential scorers down to make room for the likes of Rob Klinkhammer...

I'm not sure how a NCAA signee prospect differs from any other prospect... in terms of getting them ready for the big show.

Do we say the same about Domi just because he's in the system?
OEL turned out fine and Gormley will be a decent NHLer.
point I'm trying to make is, you can't really paint all college guys with the same brush imo.

Maybe its the fact the college guys are older and have less time to develop/wean out their weaknesses, am I missing something here?
I cant imagine phoenix has a different strategy for bringing up college guys as they do with fresh faced draftees, only difference to me is that the college guys are/should be further along in their development.

Best of luck to the kid either way
    Not THAT hairy, honest!
