It's not a controversy if they all suck. Look at Buffalo, Calgary, and EDM for examples, all them goalies get along
The Hurricanes have three goalies on their roster in Justin Peters, Cam Ward, and Anton Khudobin. Ward was the incumbent heading in to the season, but he's been outplayed by both Peters and Khudobin. With Peters being a free agent this year, Khudobin signed for the next two years, and Ward signed for the next two years, what should the 'Canes do? I vote for dealing Ward (even though he has a NTC) and signing Peters and handing the net to Khudobin. What do you all think?

Carolina will not buy-out or trade Ward (yet). Khudobin hasn't proven enough. The Canes will re-evaluate next Christmas and see where they are at. You don't get rid of your number one goaltender for a guy on a hot-streak. Khudobin may turn out for real, Ward may regain his form, or both or neither... but I highly doubt JR makes a rash decision this summer.
Peters will walk as a UFA I imagine. I doubt he gets picked up by anyone, too many serviceable goalies out there right now.
Ward will not be dealt, he brought the Canes their only Cup and as you mentioned has a NTC. He only gets moved if he decides he wants out.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
