With only 60 prospects, you can do much better.
I would keep Sano and Bauer.
Been kinda new to FBball and haven't done well with youngsters. My team is improving, but my farm last year sucked.
Right now, I've got
Olt
Bauer
Pomeranz
Sano
Grandal (put him there with the suspension -- hoping he'd pay off...he didn't)
Our league has 5 player farms (so roughly 60 prospects deep -- although a few guys are clueless, so they tend to have nobodies).
Let's say top 50 prospects should be owned.
Should I keep Olt on the farm? Or is he worth bringing up and having on the bench?
Is Pomeranz worth hanging on to?
Bauer?
I'll probably grab youngsters with some early picks. Targeting the following (which will give a sense of who's available):
K. Bryant
Tanaka
Abreu
Springer
Syndergaard
Polanco
Stephenson
Giolito
Gausman
J. Gray
Alfaro
Zimmer
That's how I've ranked them so far -- looking for BPA. (Although my keeper 3B is Beltre, so that's a place I'd look for an eventual replacement).
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks. I've been curious what Pomeranz might be able to do with his new Oakland team -- they have a pretty good record with reclamation projects.
Bauer and Sano are keepers for sure.
Not Olt? Seems like he might be fighting for the Cubs's 3B spot....

Not a Pomeranz fan, but it's your call.
Olt is ok, you could keep him.
I just think there are still some good options out there, with only 60.
Any of these available?
Julio Urias
Raul Mondesi
Albert Almora
Gary Sanchez
Addison Russell
Javier Baez
Jorge Soler
Austin Meadows
Clint Frazier
Joc Pederson
Dylan Bundy

Julio Urias, 19 year old Dodger, extremely ahead of his age. After Giolito, and maybe ahead of him, the 2 of the highest ceiling pitchers in the minors imo.
You like 5 tool players, Clint Frazier and Austin Meadows are them. Joc Pederson as well, although Frazier and Meadows rank higher in certain aspects of the game.
Frazier projects 25/25 in some circles.
Mondesi Is Raul Mondesi son. A SS, who can hit. His power is decent, and always a chance he gets bigger in time.
Almora does everything well, nothing great. Not quite the ceiling of Frazier/Meadows, but still a power/speed guy.
I do like your list, although Polanco and Giolito would be higher for me.
Of the 6 in bold, i really like all 6. Almora would be my 6th of the 6. Urias has the most ceiling to me, but i like Frazier/Meadows a lot, because of their power/speed combo.
Have you ever looked at scouting grades? Where scouts rank players on a 20-80 grading scale, on hit, power, run.
Very nice to see what a player can and can't do, and maybe what you want.
Repped ya! Thanks!
I'll look into these guys. Where do you see the grading scales? I've been using prospect lists -- trying to average a few of them and going with a "majority rules" approach.

Thanks man!!
MLB. com has a top 100 list, with the grading scale. I look more at the grading scale then ranks, since most lists are irl, which factor defense, not fantasy.
ESPN has Keith Law, formerly of Baseball Prospectus and the Toronto Blue Jays, is my favorite evaluator. You have to be a ESPN Insider to access it.
Bryant
Abreu
Tanaka
Polanco
Springer
Gray
Giolito
Frazier
Meadows
Urias
Mondesi
are on my must get list
I would take every guy you and i listed over Olt btw.

Awesome. Thanks again.
Now it'll depend on where guys go in my draft. Our prospects get drafted along with our rosters -- so I'll nab 2-3 early and then decide on Olt based on where others get grabbed!

A little late to the party, but I'm not a Pomeranz fan either.
Is Eddie Butler available?
