Hemmer doesn't really fit my plan, and Laughton's age does. started the rebuild 2 years ago and have another year or two to go with everyone about the same time line as Laughton + I have Seguin and eberle. Still Hemmer's new scenery might be good and he could be a solid player for the next 5 years +/-.
Either that or I could stay the course and have a really good pick next year ... maybe even McDavid. though patience is running out.

Scott Laughton will be a good 3rd line C. There's no way I would ever trade Hemsky for him, no matter how low Hemsky's stock is.

Right now, I think Laughtons best chance to make that team going forward is to move to wing.

What's the games played limit for prospects?
under $2mln cap, not currently on a NHL roster.

This is a cap league? Deal's looking a lot better now.
If Laughton ends up on a scoring line he will be a multi-cat stud. If not, he'll be a decent depth player in deep leagues that count hits/PIMs
If I was rebuilding I would try to trade Hemsky for Laughton + a pick. If not I'd try it straight up. Hemsky has zero value these days. He doesn't hit, doesn't take penalties, and hasn't scored 40+ points since 2010-11.
PTKL (Pts,W,SO,SV,-GA)
11 teams, 20-man rosters, top 9F, 4D, 1G count
NCHA (G,A,SOG,PIM,PPP,HIT,BS,FOW,W,SO,GAA,SV%)
10 teams, weekly lineups, 20-man pro team, 30-man farm team
I think this is a decent trade. I like Laughton. Hemsky is almost finished anyways
I think Hemsky's value just went up a little bit after being traded to Ottawa.
