8th and 10th overall
I have 8th,10th, and 12th overall in 2013 draft ( I also have 2nd and 4th)....only 2013 draft is available. we wait a year to see how it goes !

Since it is POINTS ONLY who would you target at 8th and 10th ??
My fisrt tought is to take Domi 8th but with what Mantha did in WJC I wonder if Mantha will not become the best player ( Red Wings management really love him)
Then at 10th and 12th maybe grab a D....Ristolainen? Nurse? Zadorov? Puluck, Morissey ? Who do you guys like ?

If this is only for last year's draft class, then I'd probably roll the dice on Mantha at 8th and Domi/Horvath at 10th. Since this points only, I would't waste too much effort on defence. I suppose you can take Nurse and Ristolainen if they're there later.

I would probably take Mantha at 8th and go with Morrissey at 12th as I think he and Trouba could make up one of the top defensive pairings in the league in a couple years (he has 25 goals, as a defenceman, and 66 points in only 53 games - a lot of which come from the powerplay).

I might see if I could package your 4 with your 8 or 10 and see if you could get the 3. I think Nichu's upside is that good. But Mantha and one of Domi/Horvat seem like good options. Keep in mind, you'll probably waiting 2-3 years or more for Mantha. Just because he is tearing up the Q doesn't give him a pass on Detroit's system.

Domi is #8 for me. For 10th, I think I would take Horvat. With the way Vancouver is going, I see him making the lineup fairly soon. Getting into the 7th spot is a big jump over 8th if you can swing it.

I would take Wennberg with one of those picks. I think he is the safest bet points-wise outside the top 6 picks and Nichushkin.

Not sure I want Horvat in points only. Domi. Mantha, Wennberg, Shinkaruk if you like to gamble a bit.
