Howlin' For You
Martin Hanzal, Radim Vrbata and Lori Korpikoski all had mult-point nights as the Phoenix Coyotes crushed a Stamkos-less Tampa Bay Lightning 6-3. Hanzal collected four points while Vrbata and Korpikoski picked up three points each.

40 is the New 20
Elder statesman Jaromir Jagr took it to the team who originally drafted him with 2 goals in a 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jagr was also a +4, which means he was on the ice for every New Jersey goal and he wasn't on the ice for the lone Penguins goal.

In Relief of the King
Rookie netminder Cam Talbot became the first Ranger to post a shutout in Montreal since 1967. Talbot made 22 saves en route to earning his first career NHL shutout.

The Bulin Sieve
The Khabibulin experiment in Chicago is failing miserably on its second tour of duty. Nikolai allowed 2 goals on only 8 shots and then proceeded to injure his groin. Not good. I would suggest picking up Antti Raanta if you are crazy enough to be a Khabibulin owner.

Would the Real Evgeni Please Stand Up?
Evgeni Malkin's less than stellar start to the season continued last night against the Flyers. Malkin went pointless and put up a -3 rating. And while 18 points in 20 games is nothing to sneeze at, Malkin has only scored 3 goals so far, and for a top-5 pick in basically any fantasy league, that ain't cutting it!

Not So Gudas
After a pretty impressive start to the season, Radko Gudas put up a lot of zeroes last night, except for a -3... Oh, he did get credited with 4 hits, but that's just another day at the office for Gudas.
