Studs and Duds for Friday Novemeber 15th
Studs
These were a bit difficult to pick out tonight but...
Three for Me!
Johan Franzen and Joe Thornton were the only two players tonight to score three or more points for their respective teams. While Franzen scored two goals and one assist in a shootout loss to Washington, Joe Thornton potted himself three helpers in a San Jose win over the wait for it .

Stumbles through paperwork nervously with a look of shock and awe
Ladies and gentlemen, I have a very important announcement to make. I need you to STOP what you are all doing and listen.
Ben Scrivens with a shutout!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Ben Scrivens posted his second shutout in 7 games stopping 26 shots, improving his season totals to 1.51 gaa and a .940 save percentage. Looks like LA may have a suitable cover as they wait for Jonathan Quick to return to the ice.
Dustin the Muffin
Dustin the Muffin Byfuglien scored two goals against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, as the Jets beat the Flyers in a score of 3-2 which ended in a shootout. Yes, the Jets only offensive production came from the point tonight. And to be honest .
Becoming Wild
The Minnesota Wild are finally performing as everyone had expected last year in winning six of their last seven games, the one loss in overtime to the Washington Capitals. They now have 13 of 14 points in such a timespan.
Duds
Nashville's Offensive Production
The Nashville Predators were capable of amassing a total of 18 shots against Marc-Andre "Soft as a Flower" Fleury tonight. Patric Hornqvist led the amazed effort with a whole four shots, in which none of them went in. Gabriel Bourque was the lucky lady who scored the only goal for Nashville tonight. LA wasn't far off with only 20.
Blown Leads
Boston, Columbus, Detroit, and Minnesota all have one thing in common tonight. While each team was up by two goals, all leads were blown for losses except for Minny, who was fortunate to get a goal from Charlie Coyle midway through the third period against the Florida Panthers. Boston (Ottawa) and Columbus (Montreal) both dropped 2-0 leads while Detroit blew a 3-1 lead against Washington. Today is a bad day to be a Leafs fan.
I think we all know what fits here.
