Cuts Like a Knife
After a fairly underwhelming start to the season, Chicago's Patrick Sharp posted 4 assists in a 5-2 trouncing of the Dallas Stars. Add a +2 rating, 1 PPP and a block for multi-cat leagues, and Chicago's "other" Patrick made his fantasy owners happy last night!
Nobody Asked You, Patrice!
Another player who has had a pretty slow start, Patrice Bergeron locked in for two goals against the Make-Beliefs last night as the Bruins won 3-1. Bergeron also pulled a +1, scored a goal on the power play as well as the game winner and won 14 of 23 faceoff attempts.
The "Other" Hawks
Many of Chicago's top players had excellent nights beyond Sharp's 4 points, with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa and Johnny Oduya all registering 2 points. There was also Nick Hjalmarsson who scored a shorthanded goal, while Andrew Shaw added an assist.

Is the Honeymoon Over?
After finally scoring his first two goals, Edmonton's Mark Arcobello went pointless to go along with a minus rating for the second game in a row. In the 5 games before his 2 goals, Arcobello went pointless and registered a -4, giving fantasy owners the indication that the early season value add was becoming dead weight.
CaSUCKS
Vancouver got dominated by Los Angeles last night and their players had the numbers to show for it. Whether you own Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, Alex Edler, Alex Burrows, Mike Santorelli, Jason Garrison, Chris Higgins, Zack Kassian, Roberto Luongo or Eddie Lack, you were probably unhappy with the numbers your Western Canadian players gave you last night.
Fedun-de-dun-dun-dun
After starting his NHL career with 2 goals in 2 games, feel-good story Taylor Fedun turned in a putrid -3 and goose-eggs pretty much everywhere else in a loss to the awful Philadelphia Flyers. Luckily, Fedun is probably owned in only the deepest of leagues at this point.
