Ivan Telegin news?

I know he did not report to the minors and apparently left for Russia but he has not played in the KHL. When doing searches I keep seeing mentions of the injuries he had last year as perhaps the "personal" reason for him not reporting to the minors.

Anyone have more on this? I'm thinking this could be another Paul Ranger situation but I don't want to drop him and then have him resurface right away. It's a deep league (categories in sig) with something like 1300 assets owned at a time. I picked up Telegin in a minor trade last summer. If I end up having to cut bait, no harm done. But it's slim pickings on the free agent list...

I would love to know as well? I watched him in Barrie, he was amazing to watch! He was better then Schiefle. Yeah I know crazy, but he was pretty cool to watch.

Very good question, I had been wondering that myself. I had him in a deep league too, but I've moved on from that pool. Last anything I see about him is him being suspended Sept 29 for not reporting to the Ice Caps. Completely no trace. First Nadezhda from ***** Riot goes missing, now Ivan Telegin, getting hard to keep track of these Russians.

The most I know is one of the KHL team acquired his rights when he was suspended by the Jets. He hasn't played for them though. He just disappeared. Lots of semi-cryptic tweets pointed to his injuries from last year which is why I mentioned a possible Paul Ranger parallel. Maybe he's hurting and just hasn't let the news go public?

Anyway, I ended up moving him during a series of moves that I made to give my farm team a makeover. He is a very minor casualty.
