In a H2H I don't like having two guys who are one game of touch football away from being on the IR. I admit I overpaid by giving away Lupul on top of it, but I think down the road I will be pretty happy with OEL.

I finally got sick of Yakupov and traded him. I've been struggling with the luck of my team, but think I can turn it around and still compete.
1) I traded away Nail Yakupov, Justin Schultz, Filip Forsberg, 7th round pick in 2015
2) I received Mike Richards (C/LW eligibility), Dustin Byfuglien
3) 16 team league, bi-weekly head to head points based scoring periods. It's a multi-cat league (categories are in my signature), deep rosters with minors. Keep 10, with 12 minors (players under 110 games played)
My reasoning is two-fold. Neither Schultz nor Yakupov were likely going to make my keeper list over Ovie, OEL, Weber, Lundqvist, Callahan (beast in my league), Neal, Varlamov, Eric Staal, Giroux and would be competing for my final spot with Tarasenko, Galchenyuk, Burns and Thornton. Neither would be able to be stashed in my minors either, as they will likely be over 110 games. And since neither would likely add to my chances at winning, I decided to move on.
Mike Richards strengthens my LW while being more of a consistent performer with his hits and PIMs. I also strengthen my defense to potentially one of the strongest in teh league with Byfuglien, Weber and OEL rounding out the top. Forsberg, while a nice piece, isn't helping me now, and might never reach his true offensive potential while in Nashville. So I moved him, using his perceived value to get me some now value. The 7th rounder is of mild value.
This also helps me clear a roster spot for when I have Burns return from injury (and potential Neal too).
