The Ghost of Vinnys Past
Remember when Lecavalier scored 52 goals and 108 points in 2007? Me too. Don't go expecting that kind of production from him now, but Vinny drove home three pucks for a hattie including the game winner and a power play marker against the Islanders.

Circling Sharks
Whether it was Antti Niemi and his 22-save shutout, Logan Couture's 2 goals or Patrick Marleau's 2 assists on those goals, the Sharks featured a few good owns last night in a 2-0 win over the Habs.

The Quest to be Number One
James Reimer shutdown one of the league's most potent offenses last night, stopping 37 of 38 shots against a star-studded Pittsburgh lineup. So who is the Leafs number one netminder?

Penguins Can't Fly!
On the other side of that coin are the Penguins, who just couldn't solve the Maple Leafs last night. Whether it was Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz or Jokinen, none of them did much of value fantasy-wise against the Leafs. Kris Letang was the lone goal scorer for the Pens but even he was a -2.

I Smell an Erat...
All the Capitals were pretty bad, but Erat took the cake last night registering a -4 and goose eggs everywhere else. Erat's been a dud pretty much all season so far though. Sure, his ice time is down, but he has only scored points in one game this season. Brutal.

Get Well Soon, Pekka!
In Pekka Rinne's absence, the Nashville goalies got absolutely shelled by the St. Louis Blues. Carter Hutton allowed 5 goals on only 26 shots. His backup, Magnus Hellberg did not fare much better in relief, giving up a goal on only 4 shots.
