I can't blame him for bumping this thread that seemed absolutely absurd at the time. He was ridiculed quite badly for it but it ended up being right on the money. The "in your face amateurs" comment probably comes off as more malicious than it was meant. I think it was more in good fun.

I tried to bump this thread up right after Miller got traded but the forums were in the process of being upgraded and I could not find my way through it. I just read in the Dobber guide that things were now running smoothly so I'm back reading a bit on this forum. I did not want rataylor22 to have it easy!

I will say this... it reminds me of a favourite story from my one trip to Las Vegas.

So - I'm in this betting room in a Vegas hotel one night.
This one cracked-out skinny scruff-ball comes by my chair.
He says "Hey man, Horse #2 in the next race is the winner. I've got an 'in' on the races tonight, you want to (bank)roll me?"
I say "No thanks"
He says "Just watch it."

Out of curiousity... I'm wondering... Does this guy really have an in?... Too much confidence.
I watch him and he goes and talks to another few people... and I'm thinking... Wow, this guy really has a lot of faith in that #2 horse.
So I watch the race.

The #2 horse did NOT win.
It didn't even finish top three.
What a fool?!
What an incredible fool?!

And then I find that scruff-bag in the crowd.
And I watch him.
And he goes and returns to one of the guys he talked to.
Just one of them.
Just... one.

So long story short, Miller is a horses behind??
