This league is a joke because of the piss poor officiating. It is BRUTAL. I cannot say this enough. I mean, they preach all year about calling the games following the new rules and then they fall back to the way the game was called in the 90\'s. AND THEN they call the penalty on Kennedy (which, dont get me wrong, was a penalty) but there were much more blatant calls to be made on both teams. I say this as unbiased as can be, because I like both teams so please do not take this as a pro-Penguin.
Thats my rant, I appreciate those who read it and I welcome back constructive cristicism, comments and thoughts.

yeah considering these are supposedly the best of the best of the refs its really sorta sad...theres been bad calls and bad no calls on both sides, it seems to more or less balance out but I\'d really hate to see a bad call here in OT, lets hope they put the whistles away and let it be decided on the ice.
I\'ve said this before in other posts but the Wings are hands down the best in the league at getting away with the borderline calls, I don\'t fault em for it, its a skill of the game like anything else and they\'re exceptionally talented at it, lets just hope it doesnt decide the game

i have no problem with the refs calling obstruction penalties as long as they do so consistently (which they don\'t)...what I have a problem with is games being decided on some chintzy love tap slashing bullshit or something which IMO has happened several times too many during these playoffs...if thats the type of hockey you prefer then we have nothing in common

Why are the Wings fans upset with that penalty call on Zetts? The overhead angle shows him running into MAF in the blue crease. The definition of goaltender interference.

a)he was in control of the puck and trying to make a play
b)he was being checked from behind
c)the limited contact that did occur was incidental and as much caused by fleury as zetts
