jl67s - I wouldn\'t even try to get sd1976 to change teams (Seinfeld reference!), it\'s more fun if he remains a Leaf fan. Depressed and confused is no way to go through life though.

Oh, I have many friends here who are Leaf fans, so I know there is no chance of converting them.. :laugh:

Going to a Sens/TO game is very intense to say the least.

Just a little clarification incase of any confusion regarging my avatar:

Before the Sens arrived, I was (and still am) a massive Flames fan. Therefore the Reggie (my fave player) avatar.

I find I am lucky that the Flames are in the West and the Sens are in the East, so I support both equally...

...because I\'m greedy! :laugh: :evil:

Of course a dream SC Final matchup for me would be both teams. (Insert sound of my bank account draining if this ever happened)

Yeah, I grew up in Edmonton and was lucky enough (old enough?) to support the Oilers from \'79 onwards. I was 14 when I became an Oiler supporter.

I didn\'t go to very many games though, but we had a local station (ITV!) and CBC on Saturdays.

The local media was so friggin\' supportive of the team. Today\'s media is brutal and ugly - always seemingly looking to make a negative story out of nothing.

It wasn\'t too hard being an Oilers fan back then.

I rarely have any Oilers on my fantasy teams. It\'s not by design though, I only pick\'em where I think they should be.
