Duchene for Visnovsky

For the league in my signature, I have a pretty badass forward line up. Defensemen really aren't worth much in this league.

he offered duchene for my visnovsky.

Main problem is I have too many RW's, the only reason why I care about taking this is that again, D men just don't count for much, just some little bumps here and there if your line up is full.

What is Duchenes upside? What's his deal with not advancing as expected?

If this is a keeper format you need to get off this forum and get on your team's website and accept it RIGHT NOW. Duchene is young and close to a point per game player with point per game upside. Visnovsky is solid but he's aging. Visnovsky is nowhere near as valuable as Duchene right now and the gap is only going to increase exponentially each year. Take the deal before he changes his mind or forever regret it. You can worry about positions by making another trade. This is too good to pass up and if there's a trade committee there's a strong chance it would get vetoed. IMO The Giroux for Hertl deal that got vetoed in another thread is closer to beign fair than this trade.

Duchene is 1 million times better than Purcell. What are you talking about that he hasn't performed to the level he's expected to?????? That is just not true and is a ridiculous thing to say. He is one of the better centers in the league and he's only 22 years old. Last year he scored 43 points in 47 games and this season so far he has 4 points in 4 games. What level did you expect him to be at age 22???

I would've jumped all over the Duchene for Visnovsky deal like succulent gravy on hot biscuits!! It's basically the equivalent of being offered MacKinnon for Gonchar. Or Couture for Timonen. Or Tyler Seguin for Sami freakin' Salo.

Anyways, since you lost out on that deal...yes, you'd want to take Duchene over Purcell too(though not near the slam-dunk a Duchene for Visnovsky deal would've been, oh well).
