I think Dubnyk would be a good trade chip. He's on waivers now. Who should I drop for him?...Visnovky, Faulk or Grabovski?
10 team h2h keeper league, we get to keep 7
2 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 4 D, 3 Util, 2 G, 4 Bench, 2 IR
Offensive Stats: G, A, P, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, Hits
Goalie Stats: W, L, GAA, SV%, SO
My team: Malkin, Auston Matthews, Pastrnak, Marner, Rantanen, Ovi, Atkinson, Ferland, Nyquist, Larkin, Nemastnikov, Hayes, Labanc, Vrana, Thornton, Morgan Rielly, John Carlson, Yandle, Weber, Rask, Halak, Varlamov
If anyone, Faulk. Why would you drop a hot as fucc Grabovski or a puck moving D getting PP minutes with JT and Moulson (who hasn't even played yet this season).
The Oil are going to be in tough for the next month or two. When Ryan Smyth is on the top line in 2013, that's problematic.
12 Team H2H -

C- Giroux (RW), Steen (LW), Ribeiro, Bjugstad, Hanzal
LW- Tatar (RW), Kunitz, Dubinsky (C), Elias
RW- Wheeler, Little (C), S Reinhart, Strome
D- Byfuglien (RW), Doughty, Kronwall, Muzzin, Gostisbehere
G- Quick, Allen, Enroth, McLehnney
IR- Bobrovsky, Bjugstad, Gallagher
I would have dropped Visno for Dubnyk but with your D situation you can't. Stick with what you have.
Points only keeper league
7 teams
28 keepers
Weekly line up: 12 F / 6 D / 2 G
Goalie stats: W=2 / SO=2
I think I'll take the chance and drop Visno. I have enough offense to get the job done and I'd rather have a trade chip than an average dman. He wasn't picked up yet because he's on waivers. I have the number one waiver position.

Drop Vis, trade Dubs for a quality D! Magic.
Exactly! That's the idea.

You have Rask, Luongo, Backstrom and Niemi.
Why would you pick up Dubnyk on the off chance that you might be able to trade him? Why wouldn't these people in your league pick him up themselves if they thought he had value?
What am I missing here?
EDIT: I missed that he was on waivers.
Okay, so you must feel awfully confident that Dubnyk will both be useful and be coveted by the other GMs. Interesting strategy. I'd personally stand pat.
I have Backstrom the center. And just b/c one manager dropped him doesnt mean the others think Dubnyk has no value. The manager dropped him b/c he got Anderson in a trade.
