    Default Getting offers for Gronk

10 team league, non ppr. Bonus for 100+ yards receiving/rushing. My team is pretty stacked at the receiver positions and teams with solid RBs have been approaching me asking about Gronk.

    My lineup if/when Gronk returns:

    QB: Brees
    RB1: Spiller
    RB2: Sproles (Powell)
    WR1: Cruz
    WR2: Fitzgerald
    WR3: Vincent Jackson
    TE: Graham
    W/R: Lacy (Powell)
    W/T: Gronkowski

Bench: Powell, J Bell, Helu, Hillman, Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith

One guy has offered me Foster+Tate for Gronk+Sproles and even though I can afford it I dont want to overpay. My team should make the playoffs so I have time to wait for both Grona and for my RBs to get better, or some owner to be more desperate.

Hold off or sell Gronk+Sproles? Aim higher than Foster?

My advice to you would be: don't trade Gronk while he's hurt unless it's the most obvious no brainer decision of your life that includes an elite RB. Gronk could come back weeks and play weeks 6-16 and still get 11-15 TDs. And as far as this particular offer, Foster is on the decline and isn't a big enough upgrade from Sproles, who seems to be becoming more of an every down back.

I appreciate the input but would like to point out that Foster is looking better and better every week. His pre-season is finally over and he ran well against the Seahawks...the seahawks...not many players do that.

Sproles will never become the every down back for the saints. He got extra targets in the passing game this last week because Lance Moore was out and the Dolphins stacked up against Graham. He should definitely do better than week 1-3 but I think he is a good sell high right now.

I agree on waiting for a really good offer. My team is pretty stacked so I can wait for Gronk to come back.

I'm of the mindset that Foster will never be what he used to be. I think Tate is the better runner (even though he would never get Foster's job without Foster getting hurt.) The Seahawks aren't the same team on the road as they are at home and even the week before they gave up 2 rushing TD to Jax at Seattle.
