i get; vishnovsky and nylander

he gets; huselius and ryder

with nylander locked up for 3 more yrs i have to expect him to have a place on the top 2 when he returns. i\'m confident vish will bounce back. never been a huge huselius man and ryder is 65 pts tops in a league where goals mean nothing more then an assist. obviously i\'m taking on some age but i am already quite young and i feel i have a chance to compete NOW.

any thoughts?

Visnovsky will bounce back in LA... as their offense continues to grow together and gel with all the young talent they have there (Kopitar, O\'Sully, Brown, Frolov etc. etc.) he may get back to around 60 pts. However, you will probably be taking a hit on the +/-. That being said, I like Visnovksy to bollster your D unit.

Nylander was on pace for 76 points before getting hurt. He should get back to 70. The only thing that will hurt him is the lack of PP minutes (unlike with the NYR) With AO, Backstrom, Semin up front and then Green and Poti on the back end... unless they go with 4 F and 1 D... and than it could be a revolving door with Kozlov, Nylander, and if they resign him, Federov.

All that being said, I personally can\'t stand Huselius or Ryder. I think you come out on top in this trade especially if you believe you can compete NOW.

is this a keeper league? Nylander\'s best days are behind him and with his progressing age he\'s probably going to see more injuries and missed games. But if he can stay healthy he\'s good for 70-80 pts on that 2nd line though as maple notes he wont do much for you on the PP. I don\'t like Huselius either and while I like Ryder he seems to really be on the outs in MTL with the coaching staff, hard to say if this will continue next year or not but the Habs are all about balanced offense so I\'d be surprised if anyone hit 80 pts, nevermind a Ryder type. Vishnovsky will bounce back big this season, along with LA as a whole, expect him to have the season we all expected from him in 07-08.

for the most part yes, just wondering if you have an alternative to Nylander...I had him myself last year and was lukewarm on him...decent production but terrible defensively so I got raped on my +/- Plus the injury really hurt.

Agree with the whiteman here. Do the deal. The Juice and Ryder expendable. The Lube can become a top 5 scoring Dman again and Nylander is playing on a Caps team that will get you offense. But like it\'s been mentioned before be prepared to take a hit on your +/-
