Michael Cammalleri for Jeff Cater

My team is in the middle of rebuilding and was thinking about making a trade. Would you do it?

I send Michael Cammalleri to his team.

and I get Jeff Carter Back.

Cammalleri is the better player now but Carter IMOP will be the better player.

What do you think?

I\'d wait and see if/where Cammalleri is dealt to. He is a 90 point guy in the right situation. Carter is the better player in \"real\" terms, but his fantasy value isn\'t as high as Cammy\'s in my opinion.

I agree with Angus completely, but myself I\'d give it serious consideration from the simple fact that I just don\'t see Cammalleri having the \"heart\". But then again, I\'ve had a few so I might be skewed right now.

I have Carter, and I really like his upside...keep in mind Cammalleri didn\'t play C a lot last year but was credited with doing so, if he\'s a winger...his value is high. For the record I agree with the heart thing, his salary demands were ridiculous. Carter is getting mad love around here, makes me feel nice

One more vote for Angus comments. Despite the heart thing, Cammer has a high upside and can be rewarding. On the other hand you\'ll be getting a guy that should continue to grow.

One more vote for holding off until the summer. I see Cammer getting dealt at the entry draft. Where he goes could really improve his situation (centering Kovalchuk) or really hamper his fantasy production...
