Trades: good or bad?

SIDE1)2 nd overall pick in mid year draft(all-star break) witch ended up being Brandon Dubinski
Side2)Perron and the 3rd overall pick this coming draft
Trade 2:
Side 1) JP Dumont
side 2) ME Vlasic
Trade 3:
Side 1)Lidstrom
Side 2)Seabrook+bergeron(during concussion)+Zajac

trade 1: side 2 wins

trade 2: side 1 wins

trade 3: hmmm... lidstrom is ELITE, but thats not a bad return for him, provided bergeron\'s concussion doesn\'t cripple his NHL career. it all hinges on bergeron, and seabrook becoming an offensive force.

Definetely Side 2 in Trade 1, and definitely Side 1 in Trade 2.

Trade 3 is far more difficult to call.

Seabrook should develop into a very nice 40 point defenseman, and Zajac a decent 60-65 point forward. Bergeron...well, everyone knows he is a 80-90 point player if he returns successfully. That\'s a really big \"if\" though. Lidstrom is the greatest defenseman in the league and will be the best (or at least one of the best) in the business for another three or four years. Long term, Side 2 definitely wins, but I think that the good may outweight the bad for the Lidstrom side, especially if he is trying to go for the championship in the short term.

agree we all the only question is if bergeron will perform aor not after it injury... if yes i think it fair
