Maybe, if i am happy with the results and feel i will put it out fully. I am hoping that Chinny will have something for me that will be even more helpful for this tool.

Im not going to rush it out, and i do not know how it will go out. My two options are:

-Lock it all up and only let people input player\'s names
-Send out an unlocked one with examples of how to accomplish what i have done

Depending on how it all comes out, i will make the decision

Not True, and i have made some vast improvements, i had it all setup for a nice summary page and than comish put his out, with a few mor calculation and i have incorporated those, i will be done soon. I want to cover all the angles.

for what its worth, I\'m a programmer and I could easily port something like this into a web-based application that everyone could access if we could get all the specifics worked out...the main goal for something like this is to try to make it flexible for everyone (i.e. so you can custom set your roster requirements, cap amount, player salaries, etc). I\'m really interested in building my own pool site since I\'m disatisfied with Yahoo and others and this might not be a bad first exercise.

I just dumped everything into Access and set up a bunch of simple queries to track caproom, positional availablity, etc.

Yea, i explored the route of web based, but i personally couldnt complete a task like that by myself, i dont have the time to. Access would be fine becuase this is basically a database, but i know most people use excel enough to be abel to mess around with things.

I should prob have this pretty well done by thursday or so, so if there is a select group of people that might want to take a look at it before i release it to everyone, please shoot me an email at ( notubble at gmail dot com )
