Default Two offers for Dez Bryant

A guy in my league really wants Dez Bryant. He's made me two offers:

    Send Dez Bryant, Dal WR
    Receive Jimmy Graham, NO TE
    Receive Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR

Send Dez Bryant, Dal WR f
    Receive Jimmy Graham, NO TE
    Receive Tavon Austin, StL WR

Should I accept one of these offers or stay with Bryant?

Tough call. I think Graham isnt far from Bryant as far as numbers go, and that is coming from a TE.

I actually like both offers and think both are a decent play for Bryant. Your WR takes a bit of a hit here but you get a massive upgrade at TE, which I find is a harder position to fill for numbers.

I actually like Garcon better then Nicks and Decker (the other prime WR on your current roster) as he is RGIII's primary target. Of course, thats when both Garcon and RGIII are on the field at the same time (which only happened for 9 games last year). Thats my concern for him though, his health. Apparently he is healthy, for now, but I dont have a lot of faith in him staying that way.

Tavon Austin hasn't had a great pre-season (his 2nd game was better then his 1st) so far but you have to think he will be the prime target long term for the Rams.

If you think your team has a shot to win this year, I'd probably take it with Garcon and hope he can stay healthy, but thats just me.

The second offer (Graham/Tavon Austin) is an automatic no for me. In a one year league like yours, I think it's a fool's errand to put a huge amount of stock into a rookie WR.

The first offer (Graham/Garcon) I think I'd actually do. I'd feel OK rolling two of Garcon/Nicks/Decker depending on health, matchups, etc. Your WR position also then gets a pretty nice boost in Week 5 when Blackmon returns from suspension. Not to mention Lance Moore, who should be good for somewhere around 800-1000 receiving yards and 7 or 8 touchdowns. I think you've got the quality depth needed to absorb the blow of losing Dez in order to gain the huge advantage that comes with being the one who starts Graham at TE each week.

Good points. In all honesty, I didnt see the 1yr part. I too am nervous of Tavon in his rookie year.

Congrats. The more I've thought about this trade, the more I like it for you. I expect really nice things from Garçon this season. Good luck!

Graham > Dez for fantasy purposes alone because he's the only elite TE with Gronk's health in question. Either offer is good. Pick the wr that you want with Graham and run. Garcon is better short term but Austin is young and extremely talented and has tons of upside as well.

Good trade. I think Graham is an upgrade over Bryant who is still unreliable IMO and Graham is an elite player at a position with very few elite players. Add in that Garcon was a throw in and I think you did very well in this trade.
