I think #4 is the funniest.
Hockey team names are so much better due to the funnier/stranger names in hockey.
I like to try to find something clever with one of my player's names... but always struggle with football.

That's good, I'd give it a 10/10 score for creativity (whoever came up with it first).
Last year in my other football league, the best I could come up with was: Inglorious Bowsterds. I focused on film/name combination though.
Also it can be tricky coming up with a good name with Yahoo's character limit.
In the Dobber Baseball League, I am Tale of Two Zimmers. After drafting Jordan, I actually made a trade to acquire Ryan just for that reason! A couple of us (think it was kluu) came up with Tale of Two Sedin Sisters. I loved that name, but too long for Yahoo unfortunately.

Based on my 1st round pick in the Dobber leagues this year (Marshawn Lynch), I went with:
Marsh of da Pengwins. (I thought that was pretty clever).
My first three rounds of picks were Lynch, Gore, White.
My first thought was to go Roddy Gorer Lyncher Show. But that's kind of long.
My second thought was to go something that involved Lynch-Gore-and-White... and then I felt really bad about my thought process.
Marching Penguins are much cuter.
And about as fearsome as the ol' Rajun Cajun!
It's a good name.
I still haven't decided whether to change mine or not. Currently The Waterboy is simple and I like it but I do have a tendency to change my team names by combining players and films.
However, I have come up with a new name in the Rocky Horror Roto Show. I always choose one which combines a player and a horror film: I Smid On Your Grave.
I have a few others in mind for my other leagues.
