Default Offseason turnover - who is IN/OUT on your team?

    Fellas,

Thought I would start this thread so we can see if there are any trends here. I'm also curious about others who "retooled" their team during the offseason, and what changes they made. I'll start with mine (team in sig). The guys that were on my team last year and who they've been replaced with. Feel free to share some feedback and post yours if applicable.

Cap league in sig, came down to last day of season and I placed 2nd losing by a half point in the standings (damn Neal and Crosby!). With Getz, perry, seguin, eberle and rask getting big raises I had to do a bit of shuffling.

Traded the last place team my D. Sedin ($6.1m) + Backes ($4.5m) + Phaneuf ($6.5m) for Giroux ($3.75m) + Del Zotto ($2.55m) + 2013 22nd ov + 2015 1st rd pick. Gave up a lot of roto goodness but picked up some nice pieces in the process.

Should be enough to roster another contender but will have to sit dan boyle ($6.67m) and play faulk ($0.9m), gardiner ($1.1m) and mdz ($2.55m) to squeeze under cap.. and look for a bargain or two in my draft next month!

In my salary cap league w/FOW & HITs (50-man roster):
    IN: Martin Hanzal
    OUT: Tomas Tatar

That was the only summer move I've made in my keeper.
One of my other keepers appears to be folding (which is OK by me).

Somehow my weak foward core, ravaged by injuries, led me to the finals last year, where I was blown out of the water by my opponent. Just in the midst of my draft his year, where we combined the prospect (2013) draft and regular, meaning prospects picked require protection beginning next year.

I'm looking forward to seeing some improvement on my roster this year. Hoping to shore up the forward position but I'm also confident in some of my prospects to step up and have big years (Bennett, Shore, Galchenyuk in particular).

Out: Burrows, Pavelec, Purcell, Pavelski, Setoguchi, Morrow, S. Koivu, Garrison, Boedker, MacArthur, Visnovsky, Seidenberg, Sullivan, Backlund, Giordano, Killorn

Kept: Rask, Weber, OEL, Spezza, Kesler, Lupul, Parenteau
In (thus far): Byfuglien, Dupuis, (coming into 3rd round now)

Will update as I go, but just wanted to post so I'm reminded of this thread. Interesting to see the changes to everyone's teams.

I've been rebuilding for awhile now finishing 15th, 16th, 18th, and then 10th last year. I built up a good prospect pool and finally decided the time was right to make my move. With the cap dropping the top teams are losing players while I've gone bananas this summer.

    In:
Patrick Kane, Rick Nash, Matt Moulson, Ray Whitney, Craig Anderson, Zach Bogosian, Benoit Pouliot, Michael Stone, John Gaudreau

    Out:
Vlad Tarasenko, Damien Brunner, Marc-Andre Fleury, Christian Ehrhoff, Martin Havlat, Sean Bergenheim, Braydon Coburn, Brad Boyes, Oscar Klefbom, Mikhail Grigorenko, Eric Gelinas

Not to mention getting Tavares and Parenteau late last season.

I'm now safely in the top 5, and really there is only one maybe two teams I'm really worried about. And one of those teams still has to cut like 10 million in salary.

We had such a late trade deadline, so I'll include my deadline deals as well. I ended up losing in the final on tie-breakers. One less assist for my opponent and I would have won. Oh well, back up on the horse!

    Out at the trade deadline:

    Alex Steen
    Steve Downie
    Andrej Meszaros
    Benoit Pouliot
    Dion Phaneuf
    Roman Cervenka

    In at the trade deadline:

    Luke Schenn
    Matt Martin
    Francois Beauchemin
    Ondrej Pavelec

    Out during the offseason:

    Cory Conacher (trade)
    Patrick Kane (trade)
    Drew Stafford (trade)
    Dave Bolland (trade)
    Zac Rinaldo (roster cut)
    Christofer Nihlstorp (roster cut)
    Harri Sateri (roster cut)

In during the offseason, including draft:

    Dustin Brown (trade)
    Phil Kessel (trade)
    Stephen Weiss (trade)
    Anthony Mantha (draft)
    Ryan Pulock (draft)
    Brandon Pirri (draft)
    Dmitrij Jaskin (draft)

Overall I'm happy. Lots of consolidation moves where I move quantity for quality. With the Bryz situation turning out the way it's done, it seems I'll have to make a move or two to address that. Don't feel safe with just Pavelec, Holtby/Neuvy and Halak.
    GO WINGS!

Dynasty League with 24 teams, using actual salary (not cap hit) with the 64.3mil cap limit.

Made three trades for some depth and to get under salary cap.

    In:
Trade 1) Mike Green (No pain no gain.)
Trade 1) Jeff Skinner (No pain no gain!!!)
Trade 2) David Perron (Downgrade on Getz to get under cap )
Trade 2) Mark Scheifele (ELC contract woo!)
Trade 3) Drew Miller (cheap 4th liner/bench player)
Trade 3) Mattheiu Garon (hope he signs! In this league even crappy goalies can be worth a lot, a workhorse goalie can double a top 10 forward in points)

    Out:
Trade 1) Vladimir Tarasenko (I hate cockblock, but I still wish Tarasenko luck)
Trade 2) Ryan Getzlaf (Had to go, damn salary cap.)
    Trade 3) Scottie Upshall (meh)
Trade 3) Clayton Stoner (I have way too many D)

    Since the season ended:

IN (via trade): Purcell, Hedman, Bogosian, Bernier
OUT (via trade): Carle, Gaborik, M. Johansson, Pavelec.

Will drop: Dumba, Blum, Versteeg, Berglund, Backlund, T Thomas

Will draft: MacKinnon (1st), Barkov* (3rd), S. Jones* (4th), and two late picks (55th, 60th overall).

As an expansion team, my goal this off season was/is to improve my defence (biggest weakness), upgrade my goaltending and to try to draft a few potential superstars.
