Forum - add some team threads?

It looks like an overwhelming amount are all saying the same thing, and I would agree.

Team Specific threads have seemed to have done nasty things to the \"community\" feel of other places (ie hockeybuzz and HF Boards)

I agree that adding the team threads would probably add to the possibilty of Trolls. I like this site as is but understand from a business perspective to add to your product and continue to try and improve and bring in new customers.

I also think that it would contiue to spread out the info we are looking for.

I feel like UW\'s idea got overlooked here. I think this is a great idea for a new forum. Any first hand insider info would be much appreciated. Make it happen Dobbs!

I also like UW\'s idea. A place where anyone who took in a game can post their thoughts and what they saw. Call it Live Scouting (or something to that effect), TV won\'t cut it for this section.

I like the context that Comish has used (scouting), rather than being team specific. I would like to see feedback from those who might have information from events such as The World Championships, Memorial Cup, AHL Championships, etc. Many of the dobberites are still involved in the game in some capacity. Some might be loyal fans, some might be scouts, some might be \'off-ice\' officials, some might be on-ice officials. The persepectives would be interesting. Personally, I like the idea.

first off, i agree with the sentiment of not adding team-specific sections. i don\'t think it would add too much to the site and you also risk the already-stated detriment of trolling and flaming.

as for uw\'s idea, i think that\'s a great one and it adds a completely different perspective on the games that you may miss out on watching them on tv. this is especially helpful for those who are able to check out junior games, that the rest of us might never see.
