Been trying Thornton and only getting 1st or 2nd round picks for him. Not much interest in Purcell yet.

Question is would you move a guy like Getzlaf (8.2M) for a player like Benn(5.2M), Seguin(5.7M), Huberdeau(3.2M), or Yakupov(3.7M)?

Finished first twice in last few years. Looking to stay top 3.

Hmm..... I think you should be able to get more for Getzlaf, even with the high salary.

That's how i feel too. I'd have to get at least good prospect/roster player and/or good 1st round pick back as well for Getzlaf.
Problem with Thornton is teams in contention don't have the salary space and the other non-contending teams don't want him due to his age.
