Our Friend Shoeless been? Anybody know where he has been hiding? He was a staple on these boards and now I never see him around. If you\'re out there my friend, we miss you here at the boards, and I hope everything is well in your life

I exchanged emails with him about 2-3 weeks ago and here\'s what he had to say:

My life is pretty full these days with teaching, local events that I am always at the heart of organizing and supporting my adopted Korean family. Yes, I am working on conditioning but I hate to say that my heart isn\'t in it - really tough to get out there and pound the paths around campus for this old boy. Bleck - I did too much of that playing football in the old days.

I am working on a book about teaching in Korea and also working with some Korean\'s to set up a business here AND helping organize a major symposium relating to cross-cultural relations in Korea - so needless to say my Dobber time has shrunk dramatically - it may never get back to what it was but I will still enjoy visiting the site - it is in good hands with the regulars that are on there now. I think working on a charity thrust for the site might be a nice niche for me in the next while.

He\'s pretty busy, but he\'s fine. This reminds me that I should give him a shout pretty soon!
