probably just didnt want to add at this time in teh torney just like Canada didnt add any new player....cant get team chemistry if u keep bringing in new guys
Sportsnet just mentio0ned this on their broadcast - Kovalev apparently inquired with the Russian team whether they wanted him to join to team; they texted him back to essentially say \'no thanks, you\'re too slow\'. I assume the Russian team is very popular with Quebec City fans now :P
Rebulding in two lifetime keepers, squads to follow ...

It\'s a bit difficult to understand- the Kostsytins, Salei and Grabovski played this afternoon for Belarus whereas there is no room for Kovy on the Russian team. Radulov did\'nt play at all for Russia on Friday and he hardly played yesterday.
My keeper squad on this 10 team, no positional requirement league (except 1 goalie and 1 NHL team). Points only: Parise, Kopitar, Hemsky, Brunette, J Staal, Okposo, Doan, Roy, O.Jokinen, Giroux, Krejci, Oshie, Eberle, Little, Filpulla, Steen, Filatov, Hudler, H.Lundqvist, + NHL Team LA.

Looking for a league
Woodbridge Wild
JFHL Cup Champions 08-09 & 10-11
Russia had a lot of penalties- 16 during the first two periods. Coach Vyacheslav Bikov always had the same guys on the PK unit- therefore not too much ice time for Radz. A big 6 minutes. He\'ll be in the lineup tomorrow against Denmark- a heapfull of fun is to be expected at Le Colisée Pepsi- their fans are nuts !

Well the Belarussians should be ecstatic that they got NHL players so of course they\'ll take them, especially players the level of the K brothers, they\'re the superstars of the team.It\'s a bit difficult to understand- the Kostsytins, Salei and Grabovski played this afternoon for Belarus whereas there is no room for Kovy on the Russian team. Russia maybe doesn\'t have a need for Kovalev right now and lots of depth up front. Maybe they want to see the young guys more.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

They don\'t have really young guys up front. Sushinsky is 34, Zinoniev is 28, Zaripov 27, Korneyev 24 and so on... Maybe those guys know the system very well and therefore they have more ice time.
