How come Datsyuk doesn\'t get any love? Like I\'m no huge Detroit fan but I think this guys is a 90-100 going easy every year plus he\'s solid in all categories. Unless goals count for more than assits, I\'d take Datsyuk over Heatley. Am I crazy?

well datsyuk was taken with the 10th pick. and then the next 4 were crazy. some teams are all about offense and some are about goalies. not a major surprise in the first round but some good teams being built

the the draft is still going on very slowly but its moving. some interesting moves some typical. since my first pick i went with Price (6th overall) i figured i needed to keep a nice young team to develop alonside of him. through 4 picks what do you guys think of my picks?

depends on who else has been drafted and categories (sorry if it came up didnt read all posts). I like phaneuf and richards(would be nice if you couldve got him a bit later). I\'m not a firm believer of semin so I dont like him at 43 but that is just me. Good start to a young team though

I think your team is shaping up very nicely not only now, but for the future as well. I would\'ve maybe not taken Richards at #30, would\'ve focused more on the wings, but he does bring a complete game fantasy wise (PIM, +/-, SHP) that cannot be overlooked!!

How\'s UW\'s team shaping up beyond Lundqvist??

he trade up to follow my second pick and he got nervous as i pretty much started the goalie rush that there was going to be a dman rush so he went with green. his team:

its kind of hard to ask advice here now that most people are in this league. but what you guys think i should lean to with my next few picks. im looking at grabbing another LW, RW or goalie depending on who goes in the next few picks.

im also looking at trading my 6th pick (i just did my 4th) for like an 8th and 11th rounder. what you all think?

Looking pretty solid as well, I prefer his Vanek to your Semin, but other than that it\'s pretty much down the middle. Backstrom will outpoint Richards, but like we talked about before Richards will make up for it in other categories, as well as not being so assist loaded... he\'ll be more of a 35/45 kinda guy. Phaneuf over Green (although high risk = high reward, can be a candidate for 25 to 30 goals from the point). Price vs. Lundy.... wow that\'s tough. Lundy will be ahead of Price next year, and maybe the year after but that will flip flop thereafter.
