Great string of messages...I thoroughly enjoyed perusing and can\'t wait until the fall. I would grab Vokoun or another workhorse goalie, or I also like what someone said about stockpiling wingers. I would wait on D if there is a rush on.

What are people\'s thoughts on Huet? Is he available? He might be a good choice in goal if you decide to wait or Vokoun is gone. I would think that Kolzig\'s got a fork stuck in him, as far as next season.

Looks like you got a solid team, young, built a bit for now and certainly for the future. I like your drafting besides price at #6 and semin (I\'ve already stated this before though). Should have a solid foundation for years to come

I think you took Bergeron way too early. He might not play too long if he gets hit early next season. having said that I would look to shore up your C unless there is still a good LW or RW sitting around. A guy like Horton (c/LW) would be ideal but surely he is gone by now.

yeah, horton and kostitsyn went decently early... good picks. i think newper and i have sorta spooked everyone by grabbing the youth early.

i just picked kris letang to finish my d. this has been a strange draft for me, as usually my strategy is to just forget about defense and stock up on wingers. my team:

yeah interesting load up on dmen. i have weber and phaneuf at the moment thinking those 2 can really carry my dload for the most part and can just pick up a few average guys in a few rounds.

im thinking either to go witha RW or C now.

wow, i\'m getting burned on all my decisions in this draft. was between letang, lehtonen, and carcillo. choose letang, and the same guy gets lehtonen right after and carcillo on the swing back. bogus.

yeah draft has become interesting. to be honest the last 2 rounds of picks guys were taken and i think i wanted like one or 2 of them. i guess my picks are different then everyone elses lets see how i did.

I think you\'re looking good newper. Bergeron is a bit early and I don\'t know who else was available when you drafted Penner, but the rest is fine. You have a pretty young team who should only get better!

hey guys im back with this draft lol. its still going on and we are now in the 14th round and everyone seems to be taking really young guys right now. we have a seperate farm draft but guys who have never played an nhl game are being selected. well here is my team what you guys think? am i really weak in one position? do i look like so far i could compete to get a nice enuogh of points next yr?

i think you\'re looking alright... i totally missed that vermette pick somehow. meszaros was a good one.

it\'s funny, i spent so many rounds trying to trigger a d-rush, but there\'s still plenty of good dmen to be had.

and dude, for the farm draft, the best thing you can do is to pre-order dobber\'s 2008 Prospect Report... it comes out June 1 and is absolutely essential reading. i think it costs like 10 bucks.
