who do i take? should i RISK it and go with PRICE??? is he going to be great next season. will he play more than 60 games? what do we think.

malkin, crosby and AO, luguano have been taken already. should i just go with price and hope for the best or take like heatly, koval, or someone else??? please help urgent.

newper, while i don\'t think price will play more than 60 games, especially with a quality backup like halak around, i do think that he is first round material. i love him, and would get more personal pleasure out of owning him vs luongo... although thats probably not thinking with my brain.

Well Price is really tempting for sure... However, I\'m not sure I would take him this early. I would be tempted to grab Heatley and grab a goalie with your 19th pick. I\'m sure there will still be decent goalie available.

if you want a goalie that\'ll play a ton next year, select nabokov or brodeur. the thing is price won\'t be the #1 fantasy goalie in the league next season because he\'s only 20 or 21 and he\'ll be treated like that in Montreal. but this is a keeper league where his value can only go up while nabby & brodeur\'s values are constant. thats a good way too look at rookie vs veteran player.

Thornton was the 3rd pick b/c the manager missed his pick (later kicked out of the league for generic inactivity) & was assigned JT by the commissioner so the replacement GM wouldn\'t be totally screwed.

ooh crazy, you\'ll love this. 3rd overall guy had 12 hours to make his pick and never showed up... commissioner stepped in and gave him thornton.

thornton is awesome, but the guy with the 4th pick should be sending christmas cards to the commish for every year that Malkin tops 100 points.

the 5th pick was loungo and he started off the goalie trend so i had to take price lol

sucks to be the GM who takes over and finds out he could have had Malkin. Let me guess the commissioner had 4th pick
