I would not be surprised to see Faulk become a better point producer than Voynov in 2-3 years. But you have to go with Voynov..more proven.

Faulk.
The kid is going to be a stud. Like Franklin said, it could take 2 years or it could happen next season. I think Faulk has the chops to become a borderline-elite offensive D-Man. I backed up my intuition by dealing John Carlson for him straight up in March.

Faulk......
I have had both of these players in one of my pools since the year before there draft years and was forced to move one this year in a package for RNH. It was a tough decision as I feel both have infinite potential and will be among the elite dmen in the league very soon but when push came to shove I decided to hold onto Voynov. I think his offensive ceiling is a little higher but it is a lot closer then the responses suggests, it could go either way.

(slang, idiomatic) 1. A person who habitually corrects or criticizes the language usage of others, especially in situations where it is unnecessary, e.g. an informal conversation.
Notes: This behavior is almost always found in people with very low I.Q's, whom have a very low sense of self worth. Impotence is also commonly linked to Grammar Nazi's.
Voynov>Faulk.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I saw someone mention Sergei Zubov as an interesting comparable to Voynov, and I personally liken Faulk to Dan Boyle. If those guys represent their ceilings, and I have both with a very good chance of reaching that level, then it would seem to be more or less a wash over the long term.

Zubov is an interesting comparable to Voynov and you have to hope he ends up there. Faulk is a high energy, talented two-way defenceman. His never-quit motor and drive is what gets him playing so many minutes, so he's not used as an offensive specialist but I don't necessarily see anything wrong with that. His fireball play-style may get him hurt here and there, so you may want to go with the quieter, offensive-styled Voynov... This may be one of those real-life vs fantasy squad dilemmas. I know I would rather have Faulk, but that's me thinking too much real life. I should say take Faulk, but I'm gonna say take Voynov.

Faulk for me.
Voynov is on a more defensive minded team and isn't going to be the go to defenseman on the power play.
Faulk is on a more offensive team, is by far the most talented defenseman in Carolina (PP time should increase), and I would have to expect the powerplay of Carolina improving next year.. to much talent for their power play to be as bad as it was.
