    1. Who do you see as this years slider? Who is going to slip down the draft board that we expect to see going fairly high.

Small sliders: Lindholm (btwn 6-12), Shinkaruk (same as Lindholm, Monahan (not outside of 10)

Larger sliders: Ryan Pulock, Max Domi, Kerby Rychel, Anthony Mantha, Jason Dickinson (depending on where you consider him),

    2. Do you think Zach Fucale goes in the 1st round and where do you think he ends up going?

Yes. I'd say Calgary, New York Is., Sabres, Red Wings, Maple Leafs

See bolded text above. Tough projections.

It's high but if a team thinks he's a legit star goalie then he's worthy of the high ranking (especially if he fills a team need). I am skeptical selecting goalies inside the first round as I feel you can get better value later in the draft.

Spencer Martin is one mid round goalie I feel has extremely high upside.

    Straight points? I would say...

    1. Barkov
    2. Nichushkin
    3. Monahan
    4. Shinkaruk
    4. Domi
HM: Lindholm (safer pick than Domi if you aren't a gambler)

Thanks Dean always fun to read your stuff.
    1. Seth Jones
    2. Ryan Pulock
    3. Darnell Nurse (depends largely on where he gets drafted as he could be forced into a defensive role on some teams)
    4. Josh Morrissey
    5. Shea Theodore
    HM: Will Butcher

Madison Bowey is a player I think has good offensive potential.
Tommy Vannelli, Jordan Subban and Eric Roy are two other high upside defensemen but are 'project types'

I am skeptical. It's tough to project these man child types when they are playing against growing teenagers. I guess the answer depends on what you consider "the real deal"?

I think he becomes a serviceable physical forward (similar to Brian Boyle).

In this draft class, I don't think I would draft McCarron before the 45 spot but NHL teams love these big boys so I won't be surprised to see him go late first/early second.

Does Drouin stick this year if he is drafted by either Fla/Tb or do you see him going back to junior?
He has nothing left to prove in junior coming off QMJHL MVP, QMJHL Playoff MVP and CHL Player of the Year (among many other accolades), so I would fully expect the team that drafts him to put him into their lineup. He could have a similar impact as Patrick Kane did in his rookie season.

    Love Drouin.

    Max Domi
Alexander Wennberg (dual eligibility might be attractive?)
Ryan Hartman (PIM and Points and Hits)
    Bo Horvat (huge faceoff guy)
Curtis Lazar (lower upside but good NHL likelihood with goal scoring prowess)

Tough one. I will say Monahan (but you could flip a coin). I think Monahan hasn't shown his best game yet playing on a poor team.

Damn, another tough one. Hard to argue what Shinkaruk has done. Flip a second coin....really.....it's that close.

I will rank them based on their play in the same age group.

    1. RNH
    2. Barkov
    3. Galchenyuk (close to Barkov IMO though)
    4. Yakupov
    5. Nichushkin

    Oops...missed this doulos. Sorry.

Horvat stands a better chance of rising but both players' fates depend largely on where they are currently ranked. \

    Based on the mainstream rankings:

    Lazar
    - 20th ranked North American Skater by CSS (he should be selected higher than that)
    - 12th overall by ISS (I don't see him going any higher than this)

    Horvat
    - 15th ranked NA skater by CSS (Definitely has a good chance of rising higher than this; I'd be shocked if not)
    - 10th overall by ISS (I love Horvat and have before any other scouting service did, but 10th is fairly realistic. It will be hard to knock off the Monahans, Lindholms, Shinkaruks, Ristolainens to get inside top 10...but I wouldn't also be too shocked based on his late season surge)

Scoring cats are G, A, +/-, SOG, GWG, PPP, SHP, FOW

Barkov would be my selection unless your team desperately needs help on D (Seth Jones)
