Default Jays expected to bring up Sean Nolin

One of the lesser known prospects in their system, but he had great numbers coming through the minors.

He could start tomorrow against the Orioles.

He's not the 'sexiest' of the Jays prospects, but he's performed well at every level and moved quickly through the Jays system. I'm interested to see how he does tomorrow vs. the Orioles!

I don't understand the point of this move at ALL but I wish him the best.

Can anyone explain to me why they continue to grasp at minor league straw to fill the rotation when they have Brett Cecil in the bullpen? Why not just bring him out and throw him in the rotation. Does Gibby have that little faith in him??

I'm guessing it's because Cecil isn't stretched out to pitch 5 or 6 innings. He's been working from the bullpen for awhile now. I don't know though.

I wasn't expecting much in his first start, I just wanted to get his name out there.
