I'm looking forward to Dracula in the Fall.
Here's my Queue:
The Killing- I know season 2 is supposed to be terrible but I have been watching season 1 and have enjoyed it so far.
Arrested Development Season 4- Maybe this weekend. Been watching some of the older episodes lately.
Game of Thrones- I have season 1 on DVD but I stopped watching after a few episodes. I'll give it another shot.
House of Cards- Only series my wife wants to watch with me.
Sons of Anarchy- Does not seem appealing at all but so many enjoy it. I'll give it a shot.
After I get a 30-day trial of Amazon Prime:
Justified - The one I want to watch the most.

I just wrapped up season 2 of Mad Men.
Everyone in this thread told me to stick with it after the slow start and I'm glad I did. This show is like a fine wine, gets better with age. Don Draper has got to be one of the best TV characters I've ever seen... definitely a man's man.
Huh? Don't get that - I loved both seasons. Season 3 starts on Sunday and I am really looking forward to it.
Didn't think I would like it either but I really got into it.Sons of Anarchy- Does not seem appealing at all but so many enjoy it. I'll give it a shot.

I don't know if there are any BBC fans.
Sherlock is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Right now there are two season, 3 episodes each, each are an hour and a half. I completely fell in love with the show. Outstanding. Moriarty is just fantastic in the show, one of the best villians I have ever seen.
The Killing is a great show, seasons 1 and 2 were really good. I am excited about season 3!

Swamp people!!
I considered checking out watching Hemlock Grove... but it is only ranked with 3 stars.
The mass's Netflix rating is usually pretty good, anything under 3.5 stars is usually a disappointment (I find).
House of Cards is FAN-TASTIC. 5/5 stars from me!
I loved the Killing... except for the ending (FYI... that doesn't SPOIL anything... I'm just saying it didn't fit my expectations... I had a better ending).
The show's website ran a "Guess the Killer?" contest - so I just assumed that a thinking-person could solve it. Not so.
My wife & I just finished Dexter Season 7. OMG - excellent. They wove about 2-3 good storylines in there. Second best season of that show, IMO (Lithgow season, Season 4, still the best...)
We are moving on to True Blood now.
We effed that one up though. Ordered Season 5, popped it in... felt so lost... Did we watch Season 4? Uh no. Had to return both discs and get Season 4. Face-meet-palm. D'oh!
After the Stanley Cup... I need to re-set my queue.
Oh - and a good show to (re-)watch on Netflix:
Freaks & Geeks (1999). LOL. James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segal, Busy Phillips (Cougar Town)... before they were stars. A good watch. Like going back to watch Dazed & Confused and realizing... hey, that's Matthew McConaughey as a high-school student & re-enjoying it.

I agree with Pengwin7 about House of Cards. Excellent show -- completely engrossing. It didn't get a lot of notice because it was released on Netflix, but damn it's good.
Homeland - out. freaking. standing. Season 2 seemed to go into a bit of a lull, but ultimately delivered.
The Wire - if you haven't seen it, you're wasting your time with every other show you watch. Best show in the history of TV.
Throw me in the Dexter camp. It's almost over, and you'll run straight through it. I'd he shocked if you started from the beginning and didn't end up like the rest of us. Some of the guest stars: Jimmy Smits and John Lithgow delivered some CLASSIC performances, especially the latter. Just can't see how you walk away disappointed.

Sherlock and House of Cards were great but a shame that they are somewhat short so far and the US remake of Sherlock (Elementary) is mediocre.
I've really been into Psych lately...6 seasons on Netflix US (current season not on their yet). This show doesn't air in Canada regularly so I was glad to find it on Netflix and the reason I love it is because it's one of the few shows that combines comedy with a detective show and does it well. The episodes are fairly light and it's a really fun show to watch.
I agree with the Freaks and Geeks shout out Pengwin, great show!
" You said you don't give a f*ck about hockey. I've never heard anyone say that before."
Given all the bold endorsements in this thread, I think I'm gonna give the Wire a shot after I wrap up Mad Men. Should be a nice departure from Mad Men's slower, deliberate pace.
I just blayzed through (ha) all five seasons of Breaking Bad in the past three weeks for the first time. I regret nothing.
