I need a new show...

I'm halfway through the first season of Ray Donovan. It's quite entertaining... better than I expected.

This guy does all the things that we all secretly want to do in real life but would go to jail for lol. Love it.

I definitely am really enjoying Ray Donovan. Jon Voight definitely steals the show for me. The addition of Ian McShane this season has been brilliant. The couple of minor gripes I have about it, are 1) I can't stand Bunchy... I get that he has had a rough life, but watching him is the TV equivalent of nails on a chalkboard for me... and 2) There are times when I feel like this is trying too hard to be the modern day "The Sopranos". Have a guy with some shady negative qualities, but because he is trying to be a good guy to his kids and his HIGHLY dysfunctional family, we are ok to look past it... I do like the show, but the second gripe I have is pretty minor; there have been a few times when I have been watching and felt a Sopranos type feel for it.

I was just sitting there, waiting for Ian McShane to call her a Loopy C**t. That would have made my day... :-)

Like I said, it's pretty minor. It is pretty noticeable though, to me. And I agree, the Sopranos is one of the best.
