It's done in the style of the film, and like True Detective in that each season is it's own isolated story. Really good show, I highly recommend it.

Yep he nailed it. Different setting and cast every season. Full of colorful characters with funny names and intertwined plots. Seasons 3 and 4 were ok. But 1 2 and 5 at amongst my favorites.

I thought season 1 was a masterpiece and closest to the look and feel of the movie. Season 2 and 3 were also good but I thought season 4 with Chris Rock wasn't very good.

wasnt a big fan of season 4 at all except for Jesse Buckley's character

Band of Brothers is one of my all time favorites series. Ive watched it so many times I can't count. I didn't enjoy The Pacific really at all. I don't know why. Maybe I was Just let down because it lacked the same emotion and characters from BoB.

I'll watch this series too and hopefully not be disappointed.

I saw the ads for this pop up and started re-watching Band of Brothers. Still exceptional.

Not sure if/when I'll be getting an Apple subscription to check out this new one. Seems like Apple has quite a few good shows, but the other streamers have more than enough that I've never dabbled.

Just finished the Harlan Coben based TV show called Fool Me Once on Netflix. Loved it. I've watched a couple of shows on Netflix based off his novels and haven't been disappointed yet. I will have to check out more of them.

I loved season 1. I stalled in season 2. I did enjoy it though.
